The Riley 12/4, or 1 1/2 litre, was an array of Riley Saloons, Tourers, and Sports/Racing cars, all powered by a 1496cc "12/4 Engine". Produced between 1935 and 1955, it was a very advanced engine, receiving twin overhead camshafts, cross flow head, and twin SU Carburettors, even as new, in 1935.
