Riepetown is an unincorporated community in the White Pine County in Nevada, United States of America. Riepetown is located on Nevada State Route 485, 3 miles southwest of its junction with U.S. Route 50; 5 miles northwest of Ely.[1]

History

The town was named after Richard A. Riepe, a German immigrant and self-proclaimed copper miner who platted the town. He has served in the Nevada Assembly twice, first representing Lincoln County in 1883 and White Pine County in 1889.[2]
