Ridgeway View is a small hamlet a mile outside the village of Chiseldon near Swindon in the county of Wiltshire, England. During World War II, it was an American army camp but it is now home to around 50 houses, a HGV testing centre and a small stables. The site used to be home to a railway station, which ran along the Swindon to Marlborough line. The line is now a popular walking and cycling route, linking Chiseldon, Ogbourne St George and Marlborough. Ridgeway View no longer has a regular public bus service, as it was taken off the Marlborough to Swindon route in 2002 due to its lack of use. Residents can either walk into Chiseldon, or to Draycott Foliat to catch a bus. Gloucester Rugby centre Jonny May was born, and grew up in, Ridgeway View.
