Ricky Henderson (born 11 September 1988) is an Australian rules football player for the Adelaide Football Club. Henderson was Adelaide's first selection in the 2009 AFL Rookie Draft, taken at pick 10. He made his debut for the club in 2010 against the Western Bulldogs and although he was injured in that game, he later returned to Adelaide's side.
Henderson was selected having played only three games of football in the previous four years, having played basketball locally.[1] Before being selected by Adelaide, Henderson supported the Geelong Cats.[2]
