Rick Kolowski (born December 26, 1944 in LaSalle, Illinois)[1] is an American politician and a Nebraska state senator in the unicameral Nebraska Legislature representing District 31;[2] the legislature itself is non-partisan.
Education
Kolowski earned his BA from Lake Forest College, his MS from the University of Nebraska Omaha, and his PhD from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
Elections
- 2012 When Senator Rich Pahls retired and left the District 31 seat open, Kolowski placed first in the May 15, 2012 primary election with 3,214 votes,[3] and won the November 6, 2012 general election with 9,121 votes against Acela Turco.[4]
