Rick Jacobson, is an American film, television director and stage and television actor. Jacobson directed the 2009 film Bitch Slap. Since then, he has directed the Starz series Spartacus.

Career

Cinema

Jacobson began his professional career working as additional director on the 1991 film Ring of Fire. The following year, he worked as a second director on the film Blackbelt. Afterwards he directed Dragon Fire (1993), Terminal Voyage (1994) and two films in the Bloodfist series. In 1998, the romantic film Reasons of the Heart.

In 2009, he directed his most well-known film, the exploitation film Bitch Slap starring Julia Voth, Erin Cummings and America Olivo.[1]

Television

His television directing credits include Baywatch, Baywatch Nights, Cleopatra 2525, Xena: Warrior Princess, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and most recently Spartacus.[2]
