Rick Fairless

Rick Fairless is a well-known figure in custom choppers. His business, Strokers Dallas, sells custom choppers. The shop and adjacent bar and grill he also owns in Dallas, Texas. There is also a Tattoo & Piercing Parlor on the same property.

Rick Fairless has a regular radio show on KRLD-FM in Dallas/Fort Worth: The Texas Hardtails Scooter Show.[1] He now produces the show from his shop and video podcasts can be seen at his website. Rick has appeared on Discovery Channel's Biker Build-Off and SPEED Network's Texas Hardtails. Examples of custom and theme choppers built by Rick Fairless are shown in the book Choppers: Heavy Metal Art.[2] In 2008, the William J. Clinton Presidential Center had an exhibit of bikes by famous custom builders, and two Fairless choppers, Coors and Bettie, were included.[3]
