Richard Edison Yap also known as Richard Yap (born May 18, 1967) is a Chinese Filipino actor and businessman, best known for his role as "Papa Chen" in My Binondo Girl and in the television drama Be Careful With My Heart as Richard "Sir Chief" Lim.
Personal life
Yap was born and raised in Cebu City Philippines. He graduated from Sacred Heart School and De La Salle University.
Career
In 2011, Yap launched his career via My Binondo Girl where he played Kim Chiu's father, Chen Sy. Little did he know that through this role he would gain wide recognition from fans of the series.[1]
In 2012, Yap made several appearances in the network. He played a recurring character in Walang Hanggan as Henry de Dios.[2] He is currently playing the lead role in Be Careful With My Heart along with Jodi Sta. Maria.
