Richard Ralph

Richard Peter Ralph, CMG, CVO, (born 27 April 1946) was a former British Diplomat and Ambassador to Peru. From 1999 until 2002 Raplh served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Romania and Moldova. His career in the diplomatic service started in 1969 and whilst serving as Ambassador to Peru he became involved with Monterrico Minerals plc a publicly listed company mining copper at Rio Blacos in Peru. In August 2006 Ralph was appointed Executive Chairman.[1]

In 2008, he was fined for insider dealing associated with Monterrico Minerals, the company of which he was chairman.[2]
