Richard Gosling (born 1974) is the winner of Britain's Strongest Man contest in 2003. He currently lives in Cannock, England.

Injury

Gosling was seriously injured in August 2001 when he was working as a doorman at Silks nightclub, Mill Street, Cannock. He was slashed across the neck with a bottle, causing a serious wound, and needed a transfusion of four pints of blood. His attacker was recently given a life sentence for wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. He now works as a window cleaner and part-time security at Asda, Cannock. Gosling has begun training local youngsters to become future strongmen.

Personal life

Richard now has 2 children and a stepson. He is the brother of fellow strongman and former holder of the title "Britain's Strongest Man", Mick Gosling.
