Richard Christian Matheson

Richard Christian Matheson (born October 14, 1953)[1] is an American writer of horror fiction and screenplays. He is the author of the short story collections Scars and Other Distinguishing Marks and Dystopia; the novel Created By; and the screenplay for the Showtime Masters of Horror installments Dance of the Dead (Season 1) and The Damned Thing (Season 2). He has also been a story editor for the television series The A-Team (Season 2 Episode 3 The Only Church In Town)and writer for the show (Season 2 Episode 4 Bad Time On The Border) which aired during the 1980s. As well as many others.

His father is fiction writer and screenwriter Richard Matheson and his paternal grandparents are from Norway.
