Richard Carrillo[1] (born in 1967 in Belen, New Mexico) is an American politician and a Democratic member of the Nevada Assembly since February 7, 2011 representing District 18. Carrillo is a former member of the National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators.[2]

Elections

  • 2012 Carrillo was unopposed for both the June 12, 2012 Democratic Primary and the November 6, 2012 General election, winning with 15,666 votes.[3]
  • 2010 When Democratic Assemblyman Mark Manendo ran for Nevada Senate and left the District 18 seat open, Carrillo won the three-way June 8, 2010 Democratic Primary with 1,639 votes (53.54%),[4] and won the November 2, 2010 General election with 9,291 votes (61.39%) against Republican nominee Ken Walther.[5]
