Rich "Rock" Priske (born August 29, 1967) is a Canadian musician born in Vancouver, British Columbia. He has long been active in the Vancouver music scene, and has played bass and/or written songs for DSK, ShoCore, Bif Naked and Real McKenzies, and others. Priske is most widely known for playing bass guitar and keyboards in the Canadian band Matthew Good Band. After the band's dissolution in 2002, he kept playing with Matthew Good until the end of the In a Coma tour in the Fall of 2005. Priske currently resides in Kelowna, British Columbia, playing with the Jimmy LeGuilloux Band, a prominent local group.

Writing

Rich is also an avid writer, contributing to weblogs as a "citizen journalist" ], and others. He has also contributed many technical and instructional articles to magazines such as CM (Canadian Musician). Rich has a long history with the web, he was an early adopter of what is now known as "web logging" or "blogging", beginning with his popular "Notes From The Road" feature on the now defunct Matthew Good Band website, circa 2001. He keeps a blog on Blogger, but updates it rarely.
