Ricardo González Fonseca (born 6 March 1974) is a Costa Rican professional football goalkeeper. He currently plays for A.D. Belén in the Primera División de Costa Rica.

Club career

González Fonseca has previously played for LD Alajuelense and Comunicaciones of Guatemala before joining Herediano.

International career

González Fonseca has made 34 appearances for the Costa Rica national football team,[1] including three qualifying matches for the 2006 FIFA World Cup [2] and five qualifying matches for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.[2] He made his debut in a friendly against Jamaica on September 27, 1995.[3]

González Fonseca made one appearance at the Copa América 2001[4] and four appearances at the Copa América 2004[5] He also made four appearances at the 2003 CONCACAF Gold Cup.[6]
