Riad Michael

Riad Alexander Michael is a German electronic musician who releases his works under the alias Geyser as well as his own name.

After his noticed and multiple positively reviewed debut album Digger as Geyser has been published under the Colonian label Mehrwert Records, he has founded his own label Geyser Recordings under which his further studio albums have been released.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8] While Geyser has been classified as downtempo, trip hop, lounge, big beat, drum 'n' bass, dub, funk, fusion and abstract pop, the productions as Riad Michael have been categorized under techno, tech house, progressive house, trance, IDM and ambient.[9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23]

Being continuously musically active since his early youth Riad Michael has absolved a scientific further education in music therapy subsequent to his studies of medicine and has written his dissertation on the therapeutic music drawing in psychogenic and psychosomatic disorders.
