Rhys Lawrence (born 4 June 1988, Hillingdon) is a rugby union player currently playing at Hooker for Bristol Rugby. He signed from Llanelli RFC and the Scarlets.
Early Years
Lawrence was born in Hillingdon, England and then brought up in Swansea, Wales. He played rugby first for Dunvant RFC under-13’s.
He went to Olchfa Comprehensive School in Swansea before studying at Swansea University.
In 2008 attained 6 Welsh u20 caps. Was Man of the Match against Ireland in Dubarry Park Athlone during 6 Nations. Appeared in first U20's world championship in 2008 hosted in Wales. Appeared in 3 pool games but injured MCL in game against France.
