Rhian Marie Sugden (born 11 September 1986)[citation needed] is an English lingerie, glamour model and Page Three girl.
Early life
The youngest of two daughters born to Stephen and Anita Sugden in Bury, she was raised in Radcliffe, Greater Manchester and educated at Coney Green High School.[1]
Career
After leaving school, she worked as a network administrator for Global Telecoms and Technology in Bury.[1]
Deciding to become a model, she paid to have a portfolio of pictures created, and then applied to specialist glamour model agency Samantha Bond in London.[2] Presently signed to Girl Management, she has since appeared on numerous occasions on Page Three of The Sun newspaper - for the first time in August 2006 - and also in magazines such as Maxim, Loaded, Zoo and Nuts.
In 2008 she appeared in the BBC documentary series Glamour Girls.[3] Sugden is a keen DJ.[4]
In 2011, Sugden appeared as a "Forest Woman" in the Danny McBride fantasy film Your Highness.[5] On 15 August 2012, Sugden entered the Celebrity Big Brother 10 house, alongside Julie Goodyear, Cheryl Fergison, The Situation, and Julian Clary. She was evicted on 29 August 2012.
Sugden appears in the Hot Shots Calendar 2014.[6]
Personal life
Since August 2013, Sugden has been dating former Coronation Street actor Oliver Mellor.[7]
Along with Lucy Pinder, she is raising money for "Get Kids Going", a charity giving disabled and young children the chance to participate in sports, by means of inviting sponsorship for her and Lucy's participation in the 2011 Modball Rally.[8]
Sugden received significant media attention in February 2010 when it was revealed that she had exchanged several "racy" text messages with married television presenter Vernon Kay.[9]
