"Retrograde" is a song by English electronic music producer and singer-songwriter James Blake. The song was released as a Digital download on 11 February 2013 as the lead single from his second studio album Overgrown (2013). The song was written, produced and recorded by James Blake, under supervision of musicians Kanye West and Justin Vernon, who both served as production consultants and mentored Blake for the musical direction on his album. The song has peaked at number 87 on the UK Singles Chart, the song also peaked to number 10 in Denmark.

Music video

A music video to accompany the release of "Retrograde" was first released onto YouTube on February 10, 2013 at a total length of four minutes and three seconds. It was directed by Danish director Martin de Thurah.[1]
