The Republican Party of India (Democratic), a splinter group of the old Ambedkarite Republican Party of India, was a political party in India. The leader of the party is T.M. Kamble, while Dr G K Dongargaonkar is the Working President. Its presence is all over India, among Dalits, vulnerable section of the society and amongst the concern citizens of India and across globe. The Party is struggling to create a sustainable and just society.

Recently, all factions of RPI, except Prakash Ambedkar's Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangha, reunited to form a united "Republican Party of India". RPI (Democratic) is also merged in this united RPI.
