Renbygda is a village in the municipality of Holtålen in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located on the east side of the village of Ålen. Both are located along the Gaula River and the Rørosbanen railway line. The lake Riasten lies about 25 kilometres (16 mi) to the east.
The 0.67-square-kilometre (170-acre) village of Renbygda has a population (2009) of 299. The population density is 446 inhabitants per square kilometre (1,160 /sq mi).[1]
