Relau is a town located just before Sungai Ara, Penang, Malaysia. There is a school in Relau named SJK(C) Min Sin.

Pekan Relau is a small traditional Malay rural township tucked away in the Bandar Baharu district which lies in the Southern part of Kedah Darul Aman. Bordering Northern Perak and Southern of Seberang Perai, it takes visitors only 45 minutes to reach the destination from Penang and 15 minutes from Parit Buntar in Perak. Its uniqueness is in the location itself. Surrounded by lush green hills with unspoilt natural beauty hence giving the town the extra edge over other rural locations of Kedah. The invigorating environment with gently rolling hills and picturesque surroundings make Relau popular holiday destination.

The warmth and friendliness of the town population, a majority of which are Malays who make a living through their traditional agriculture and farming concept, has made Relau a country retreat or what the urban population call 'balik kampung' ( homecoming ) holiday attraction.

Orchards provide a wide range of fruits like durian, mangosteen, langsat, cempedak and dokong. Some are seasonal but there are also year long fruits for take taking. The seasonal Durian Relau which is a high grade species of the 'King of Fruits' has proven itself a hit with both local and foreign tourists.

One attraction is Kapitan Chung Thye Phin's derelict but still magnificent Relau Villa near Metropolitan Park.
