Rekhdeipur

Rekhdeipur is a rural area of the Jajpur district in Orissa, India.[1] It is situated in the border of Dhenkanal district. It has historical significance as the place where, in 1938, the 12 year old boy Baji Rout (born in Bhuban} was shot and killed by police after refusing to take them across the Brahmani river.[2] He is regarded as the youngest freedom fighter or martyr of the country.[2][3]
