Refresh EP (2002)

After an absence from the music scene of about 7 years, former Little Angels singer Toby Jepson returned with this EP. 5 brand new tracks recorded in January 2002 at Spool Studios and featuring the rockers Unwind and Breakdown, the mid-tempo title track, the ballad-y Forgiveness and love song My Aim Is True this is a mini-album with a bit of everything Little Angels did so well!

Tracks
1. Unwind
2. Breakdown
3. Forgiveness
4. Refresh Yourself
5. My Aim Is True

Notes:

  • The EP was supported by two tours in 2002 during which the first four tracks were all played live. Curiously 'My Aim Is True' was never performed and, to date, has never been played live.
  • The original demo version of 'Forgiveness' featured Dean Howard (of T'Pau) on guitar. In 2007 he would become Toby's live and studio lead guitarist - replacing Nick Dunne.
  • The main riff for 'Breakdown' came to Toby in a dream.
  • The EP was originally planned to have 6 tracks but had to be cut to five due to studio time constraints. The 6th track is generally assumed to be either 'Pure' (which was later released on 'Twisted Rhapsodies') or 'I Never Lied To You (I Just Didn't Tell The Truth)' - which remains unreleased
