Recher Theatre

Recher Theatre was a concert venue in Towson, Maryland. It was located at 512 York Road in the building previously operated as the Towson Theatre, the Recher was opened as a concert venue in 1999 and closed in 2013.[1] The former location of the Recher is being converted into a nightclub to be known as the Torrent Nightclub.[2]

The small venue with a capacity of only 700[1] hosted several popular acts over the years, including: Aimee Mann, All Time Low, Anberlin, Bo Diddley, Breaking Benjamin, Buckethead, Buckcherry, Demon Hunter, Jeffree Star, Charlie Daniels Band, Cheap Trick, Crack The Sky, Danzig, Electric Light Orchestra, Flaming Lips, Fuel, George Clinton, Good Charlotte, Iggy Pop, Judas Priest, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Linkin Park, O.A.R., Papa Roach, Puddle of Mudd, Reel Big Fish, Robert Cray, Shinedown, Slayer, They Might Be Giants, Third Eye Blind, The White Stripes, Boondox, and Zakk Wylde.[3]
