Realta Entertainment Group[1] is an independent media company developing reality-based interactive multimedia, hardware and content for video game consoles and personal computers. Realta is headquartered in Campbell, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley. It has a number of influential partners in both the gaming and music industries.
Realta launched its first AAA console game, BandFuse: Rock Legends, on November 19, 2013.
History
Realta Entertainment Group, Inc. was founded in 2009[2] by a group of dedicated professionals with extensive experience in business, interactive multimedia, music and video game creation. The founding members of Realta have been working together building interactive programming and multimedia projects for over 20 years with clients that include Data East, Electronic Arts, Time Warner Interactive, and Universal/Interscope. The team has worked to reinvent the way people use video game consoles, turning them from toys into powerful creative tools.
The in-house development team has garnered numerous industry accolades, including multiple Emmy, Telly, Clio, and Addy awards for its interactive creations. The team’s most recent project has been BandFuse: Rock Legends.
Partners
Realta’s partners include members of the music, gaming and entertainment industry. Partners include Relativity Media, Fender Musical Instrument Corporation, DR Strings and Nady Systems. Realta has also collaborated with Harmonix, the pioneer of the music gaming industry. In this collaboration, Realta consulted with Harmonix on elements ranging from setting skill levels within the game to the implementation of the vocal highway design that is linked to Realta’s audio engine and analytics.
Games
Realta Entertainment produced, developed and released their first game, BandFuse: Rock Legends on November 19, 2013. BandFuse: Rock Legends is the pinnacle of music gaming, combining the seamless use of real musical instruments with a compelling and enriching game environment. BandFuse: Rock Legends is designed to be a pick-‐up-‐and-‐play experience for people of any musical skill level that entertains while building true musical skills that will last a lifetime. BandFuse: Rock Legends is designed as a franchise that also incorporates continued game play through rich DLC content.
