Raymond Michael Reid is the head men's soccer coach at UCONN. He is the school's all time most successful coach. His success in soccer division 1 is shown by his team's winning percentage of (.771). As a collegiate head coach, he has a career record of 350-87-49 (.771).[1] He coached at Division II Southern Connecticut State University, where he achieved a 146-17-15(.862) record.

He has coached at UCONN since 1997, and has obtained a 145-56-17 (.704) mark there. His teams have made nine straight NCAA tournament appearances, and have won or shared five Big East regular season titles. They have also won three Big East Tournament Championships. He was named the National coach of the year in 2000, and the Big East coach of the year in 1998. He was named the NSCAA Coach of the Year four times (1990, 1992, 1994, and 2000).
