Raurkela Industrial Township is a town in Sundargarh District in the Indian state of Odisha.

[citation needed]As of 2001 India census,[1] Raurkela Industrial Township had a population of 206,566. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Raurkela Industrial Township has an average literacy rate of 84%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 80%, and female literacy is 68%. In Raurkela Industrial Township, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age. It acquired 14th place in quality of urban sanitation under the National Rating and Award Scheme for Sanitation for Indian Cities by the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India.
