Raul Bocanegra is an American politician currently serving in the California State Assembly. He is a Democrat representing the 39th district, encompassing northeastern San Fernando Valley. Prior to being elected to the state assembly, he was chief of staff for his predecessor Felipe Fuentes.
A native of the San Fernando Valley, he graduated from San Fernando High School.
