Rathfriland Rangers Football Club is a Northern Irish football club playing in Division 1B of the Northern Amateur Football League. The club is based in Rathfriland, County Downm and was formed in 1962 and joined the Newcastle & District League before attaining intermediate status and joining the Amateur League in 1986.[1] The club currently consists of three teams: the 1st XI (Rangers), 2nd XI (Swifts) and the 3rd XI (Colts) as well as an under-17 squad. Rathfriland Rangers currently play in Division 1B whilst the 2nd team is in the Mid-Ulster Football League 2nd Division having clinched promotion in 2007/08. The Colts are in Division 2 of the regional Newcastle & District League.
