Ranichauri is a village development committee in Sindhuli District in the Janakpur Zone of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 7170 people living in 1229 individual households.[1]
Note that there is a village by the same name of Ranichauri in the North Indian State of Uttarakhand, in Tehri Garhwal district. A neighbouring town is Chamba. This Ranichauri is known for housing the Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry.
