Ramsbottom Cricket Club is a cricket club in the Lancashire League, which plays its home games at Acre Bottom in Ramsbottom. For the 2011 season its captain is Jon Fielding, and its professional is Shanan Stewart of New Zealand. Usman Khawaja was called up to the Australian test squad and instead their professional is Alex Doolan.[1] The club has won the league on four occasions and won the cup 6 times, including two victories in consecutive years in 2001 and 2002.[2] It has employed professionals including Wasim Raja, Keith Arthurton and Brad Hodge.[3]
