Rakovski Municipality is a municipality in Plovdiv Province, Bulgaria.

Municipality

The municipality of Rakovski consists of the town of the same name and six villages. It covers a territory of 264 km² which is 4,4%[1] of the total area of the Plovdiv Province. The population of the municipality is 29,039 of which 16,291 live in the town. It has an important transport location with the Trakiya motorway and the southern gas pipe passing through its territory.[1]
