Biography
Rajeev Ravi (Malayalam : രാജീവ് രവി ) is an Indian cinematographer, film director and film producer. After graduating from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in 1997, he started his career by assisting in the Malayalam film, Pranayavarnangal shot by Santosh Thundiyil. He debuted as an independent cinematographer with the film Chandni Bar directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. Rajeev is known for his collaboration with director Anurag Kashyap. They have collaborated in several feature films in Bollywood.In 2012, he co-produced the Hindi feature film I.D.,directed by Kamal K.M. The film premiered in the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea. It is to be released in India in 2013. Rajeev debuted as a director with the Malayalam film Annayum Rasoolum, which is released in January 2013.[1]
Personal life
He married film director and actress Geetu Mohandas on 14 November 2009.The couple is having a baby girl Aradhana born on 8 January 2013.
