Rairakhol is a town and a notified area committee in Sambalpur district in the Indian state of Odisha.
Geography
Redhakhol is located at 21°04′N 84°21′E / 21.07°N 84.35°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 182 m (597 ft).
Location
National Highway 42 passes through Rairakhol. It is around 67 km south of Sambalpur, the district headquarters.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[2] Redhakhol had a population of 13,722. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Redhakhol has an average literacy rate of 66%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 76%, and female literacy is 55%. In Redhakhol, 14% of the population is under 6 years of age.
