Time track listing

"Rain Is Falling" is a song written and performed by Electric Light Orchestra (ELO).

It was track seven on the album Time (1981) and was released as the third single from the album in the US in 1982.

The song has a slightly familiar feel about it, featuring the usual ELO strings and rain effects, and has been likened to the songs comprising the "Concerto for a Rainy Day" featured on the ELO album Out of the Blue. Rain has actually been a regular recurring theme in Jeff Lyne's song writing, with many songs not actually about it but including references (such as Evil Woman and Showdown).

B-side

Another Heart Breaks

"Another Heart Breaks" is a song written and performed by the Electric Light Orchestra.

It was track six from their 1981 album Time. It was the band's first instrumental since The Whale which first appeared on their 1977 album Out of the Blue. The song's genre has more influences by the new wave part of the LP than the previous ELO sounds.

The A-Side of the single is the next track on the album, which was released as a single in 1982.
