The Ffort Raichak
Opened in 1997 as a landmark in West Bengal, the Ffrot Raichak stands amidst 65 acres of landscaped greenery against the backdrop of the river Hooghly. The resort is constructed on an old fort theme, the entire façade is composed of 130 year old narrow bricks, typical of historic forts, giving it the look of an ancient fort. The Ffort carries a fable with it which talks about its glory in the 18th century.[6][7]

The restaurant provides a typically Oriental ambiance with Chinese lettering on the walls, food prayers on the artwork and prayer wheels near a large table. The mood of the decor is traditional in every sense, from Buddha to dragons art pieces set against tones of ‘Chinese auspicious’ red.
