Rahul Bhat (Kashmiri: राहुल भट (Devanagari), راہل بھٹ (Nastaleeq)) is an Indian actor who works in Bollywood, but mainly for Television industry. He hails from a Kashmiri background.[1]

Career

He first appeared in Boogie Woogie series. He also appeared in Heena in role of Sameer ex-husband of Heena. Also he appeared in few Bollywood movies. He became a Bollywood actor after TV series Heena.[2] He started his career by commercials like Ponds, Breeze. He turned television producer in 2007 with the serial Meri Doli Tere Angana on Zee TV

Rahul Bhat was born into a Kashmiri Pandit family in Srinagar and moved to Mumbai to fulfill his dreams in the nineties. He was very active in theatre and dramatics all through his schooling years, participating in all levels of drama competitions and invariably, winning most of them.

Rahul was a very popular student and learnt to please crowds from very early age. Rahul enjoys music and though he is not formally trained, he is very musically inclined.
