Rahman Hajiyev (Azerbaijani: Rəhman Hacıyev; born 25 July 1993 in Tovuz), is an Azerbaijani football midfielder who plays for FC Baku in the Azerbaijan Premier League.[1]
Playing career
Rahman Hajiyev began his professional football career at FC Baku youth system. In 2008, he appeared for FC Baku second team, however was noticed by clubs' former head coach Gjoko Hadžievski. At the age of 15, he made his debut for FC Baku and became the youngest Azerbaijan Premier League winner ever.[2]
In 2010 Hajiyev was closed to be signed by Turkey First League side Altay S.K., but a contract was rejected due to financial reasons.[3]
