Ragnar Hovland.

Ragnar Hovland (born 15 April 1952 in Bergen) is a Norwegian novelist, essayist, lyricist, and writer of children's books.

He was awarded the Brage Prize in 1992 for the children's book Ein motorsykkel i natta.[1] He received the Norwegian Critics Prize for Literature in 2001, for the novel Ei vinterreise.
