Raging Wolf Bobs was a wooden roller coaster at Geauga Lake amusement park in Aurora, Ohio, United States. The coaster was based on The Bobs at Riverview Park in Chicago.
On June 16, 2007, the last car of one of the trains on Raging Wolf Bobs derailed. Parts of the track were burnt and up in smoke while the ride was in motion. One little girl in the derailed car suffered deep burns and cuts from the track. It was closed for the rest of the season.
The ride was retracked by Martin & Vleminckx.[1]
On September 21, 2007, Cedar Fair announced that Geauga Lake would no longer operate as a traditional amusement park, and instead become solely a waterpark, Wildwater Kingdom.
On June 17, 2008, Raging Wolf Bobs was sold for $2,500. The ride started to be demolished in 2011 and was finished in July 2012, though much of the structure is still standing as of late April 2013.
