Career

Early years

Raffi launched his career with a supporting role in the One Point Star soap opera. Raffi later appeared in other soap operas as well as teen movies like Love is Love, for which he received critical acclaim[citation needed].

In 2006, Raffi was selected for Joey Ayala's vocal group No Ordinary Stars (BBB). The group's first single, "Let's Dance Together", was well received. BBB then starred in a film directed by Lasja Fauzia called No Ordinary Stars: The Movie. "No Ordinary Stars", the single from that film, became very popular with the teenage demographic[citation needed].

Star

In 2008, Raffi's acting career took off when he appeared in a film produced by Rudi Soejarwo Wild and Asoy Geboy. At the end of the year BBB launched a new single, "Disconnect Disconnected".

In 2009, Raffi was touted as one of the best-selling artists thanks to Awesome. In addition to the show Strikes, he starred in two new programs, pairing with Olga Syahputra. He has starred in sitcoms like Diary Baim OKB. He also released the single "Johan", a duet with Laudya Chintya Bella.

Collaborations

His relationship with the singer Yuni Shara was a popular topic in the media. They went public on talk shows Just like Alvin, Online and The Four.

On February 26, 2010, at the Fierce Awards, Raffi and Yuni appeared together playing a medley of songs: "Johan" and "I Looked for the Best Way". This was followed by various offers to pair the two in projects, including advertisements, duets, and the movie House Without Windows. Raffi also directed a short film called Barbie, starring Yuni. The 10-minute movie was awarded the Best Movie award at the 2011 LA Lights Indie Movie.

At the end of 2011, Raffi starred in a movie titled Pocong. Barometer Lite production house, which produces one of Indonesia's leading tabloids, put Raffi's name in the fourth position for Indonesia's richest artists of 2011.
