Radio Metrowave

Radio Metrowave (Bengali: রেডিও মেট্রোওয়েভ) is a private radio station in Bangladesh. It went on air on 26 March 1999. This radio station operating on frequency 256.41 meter band or 1170 kHz in medium wave.[1] The main theme of this station is a new concept infotainment.
Popular programs
Probhati, Ajker Din, Ganer Pakhi, Metro Hits, Global Rhythm, Rockwave, Nakshi Katha, Metro Sananda, Sonali Otit and Station Rock are some of the popular programs of this station.[2]
Shutdown
Radio Metrowave was closed down by the government on June 27, 2005 when it failed to pay off arrears to Bangladesh Betar.[3]
