Racing Steps Foundation

The Racing Steps Foundation, abbreviated as RSF, is an organization founded by Graham Sharp in 2008 with former Formula One driver John Surtees as the ambassador for the organization. RSF aids young British racing drivers in the junior categories of Formula Three, Formula Renault and karting. The Racing Steps foundation also run a number of riders in the 125cc category in the British Superbike Championship, with wildcard rides in Moto GP Moto3 Class.
Currently, there are three drivers in three different formula racing categories being backed by the RSF.[1] They are:
- Oliver Turvey (World Series by Renault)
- James Calado (GP2 Series)
- Jack Harvey (Formula BMW Europe)
- Dean Smith (GP3 Series)
The RSF also backs two kart drivers:
- Jacob Stilp (karting)
- Jake Dennis (karting)
Motorcycle racers include:
- John McPhee (Moto GP Moto3 Class wildcard rider)
- Wayne Ryan (British 125cc Championship)
- Fraser Rogers
As well as drivers, a number of teams are affiliated with the organization, they include:
- Carlin Motorsport
- Fortec Motorsport
- Zip Young Guns
