Rachel Treweek

Rachel Treweek (born Rachel Montgomery;[1][2] 4 February 1963) is an Anglican priest and, since 2011, the Archdeacon of Hackney.[3]
Treweek was educated at the University of Reading. After an earlier career as a speech therapist she was ordained deacon in 1994[4] and priest in 1995. Following a curacy at St George's Tufnell Park, she was vicar of St James-the-Less, Bethnal Green[5] until 2006 when she became the Archdeacon of Northolt, a position she held for five years before becoming the Archdeacon of Hackney.[6]
