Rachel Louise Grant de Longueuil, more commonly known as Rachel Grant, (born 25 November 1977) is a Filipino-born British actress and humanitarian. Besides her acting career, she specializes in Filipino martial arts Kali. Grandmaster Dan Inosanto was one of her teachers.

She was raised in Nottingham, England, attended drama school in London and now based in Los Angeles.

Grant is of British, French-Canadian, Filipino and Spanish descent through her parents.

Personal life

Rachel Grant moved to the United Kingdom when she was a baby. Her British father, a retired doctor, hypnotist and nobleman, is Michael Grant, 12th Baron de Longueuil. As such she is related to British royalty through her grandfather, the late 11th Baron Raymond De Longueuil (second cousin to Queen Elizabeth II) whose mother was the Lady Ernestine Maude Bowes-Lyon.[3] She has one older sister - model Angela Grant (b. 1974) and one younger sister - the actress Rebecca Grant (b. 1981), and a younger half brother - David-Alexander (b. 1984). Career

Rachel Grant is most notable for her role as Peaceful Fountains of Desire in the 20th James Bond film Die Another Day. However her first TV break came in the role of Nina, the hostess of horror show Sci-fright and was equally popular as Professor Myang Li in the Sky One series Brainiac: Science Abuse.[citation needed]

She was the body double of Angelina Jolie in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.[citation needed] She has appeared in a number of UK Television adverts, including adverts for Lynx and Carlsberg and she is a former competitor in Miss Great Britain.[citation needed]
