With USD 2.7 trillion in client assets under administration, RBC Dexia Investor Services ranks among the world’s top 10 global custodians.[citation needed]
Headquartered in London, UK, RBC Investor Services has 5,500 employees who advise clients from offices in 15 countries on four continents. Operations are conducted mainly by RBC Investor Services Bank in Luxembourg and RBC Investor Services Trust in Canada, and their affiliates and branches around the world. On July 27, 2012, the Royal Bank of Canada completed acquisition of the 50 percent stake that RBC did not already own in the joint venture RBC Dexia Investor Services Limited (RBC Dexia) from Banque Internationale à Luxembourg S.A.
