From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Régiment de Royal-Allemand was a regiment in the French Royal composed of foreigners. In 1790 it became the 15th Cavalry Regiment.
During the French Revolution, the Allemand Daragoons, under the command of Charles Eugene, were used to suppress the French mob.
General Jabłonowski served as Lieutenant in the regiment before losing his commission after failing to return from leave.[1]
