History
First record about Rastely is from 1068.[2] Another record comes from Codex Vyssegradensis about 1085. Village was until 1323 together with Svučice and another 20 villages along old salt path from Passau property of Vyšehrad Chapter.[3] Rastely became manor later and on its keep was sitting Jiřík z Rastel in 1511 (he died in 1542). His daughter Anna sold village to Jan and Jiřík z Ploskovic. Rastely were credited to Kryštof Loubský z Lub na Rencích during Czech assembly in 1584.[4] After Rastely became property of House of Šic z Drahenic they were in 1622 pillaged and in 1623 sold to Příbík Jeníšek z Újezda and by this merged with nearby town Březnice. Eight houses was part of former Drahenice manor.[5] Ráztely belongs to parish of Drahenice.
