Quzanlı (also, Kuzanly and Kuzanly Vtoryye) is a village and the most populous municipality in the Agdam Rayon of Azerbaijan. It has a population of 13,002. The municipality consists of the villages of Quzanlı, Birinci Quzanlı, Eyvazlı, Çullu, and İmamqulubəyli.[1][2]
Since 2009 Quzanli has been cited as the rather unlikely home to one of Azerbaijan's top football clubs, FK Qarabağ.[3] The team had been based in Baku since 1993 ever since forced to leave Agdam where they were originally based. The total depopulation and continued occupation of that city means that Quzanli, being in the unoccupied sector of Agdam Rayon, is about as near as they could get to a full 'return home'.
