Quintus Tineius Sacerdos

Quintus Tineius Sacerdos (c. 160 aft. 219) was a Roman politician.

He was the son of Quintus Tineius Sacerdos Clemens and wife.[citation needed]

He was Consul Suffectus I from March to an unknown month 192, Governor of Bithynia et Pontus, Proconsul of Asia sometime between 200 and 210, and Consul Ordinarius II in 219 joint with Emperor Elagabalus.

His brothers were Quintus Tineius Rufus and Quintus Tineius Clemens.

He married Volusia Laodice, born c. 165, daughter of usurper Emperor Avidius Cassius and wife Volusia Vettia Maeciana, and had a daughter Tineia, born c. 195, who married Tiberius Clodius Pupienus Pulcher Maximus, son of later Emperor Pupienus and wife Sextia Cethegilla.
